We Can Maintain And Improve Our Balance

With 3 main contributors we can do this. Nerve receptors (inner ear), vision (sense of where you are) and proprioceptors (nerves embedded in muscle and tendons that help equilibrium). When one or more of these malfunctions your balance can be affected. Reasons for balance issues are such things as vertigo, postural hypotension, neurological, nerve damage to feet and medications.

Be sure when you come to classes that you are 90% sure of the things we do before you do them! Your safety is most important! Our classes are designed to always work on balance. As time consuming as it can be at times, our work on balance is MOST important! It will help you maintain and improve your balance and coordination.
